When we purchased Roseanne's dam, MA Gilda in 2005, she was bred to ¾ Accoyo MA Monti. The result of that paring is this knockout young female. Roseanne has flawless conformation. This is a phrase that is thrown around quite a bit but Roseanne is in fact a beautifully put together alpaca. Her dark fawn fleece has wonderful handle and uniformity. We are hoping for a nearly 3/4 Accoyo cria with color.
For her maiden breeding we chose our full-Accoyo herdsire, Accoyo America Tiburon. Tiburon is a son of PCA El Nino and Ppperuvian Tayabamba, one of the strongest producing Accoyo female imports. This breeding will maintain Roseanne's full Peruvian pedigree and should augment her fleece characteristics by adding even more definition and density to her dark fawn fleece.
To sweeten the pot further, Roseanne will sell rebred to our medium rose grey herdsire, Crescent Moon's Rayo's Spittin' Image. He has produced grey from brown for us and all 5 of his cria to date are girls!
