Emelise's Mission Accomplished

Several years ago we purchased a Jericho breeding at auction. We held onto it for a few years, wanting to ensure we had just the right female to take to the sire of Jeremiah and a nearly countless slew of other champions! We asked a few breeders and herd evaluators we respect and every one of them gave us the same answer - Gracie, one of our Legacy daughters. So off she went and the wait began. I am not ashamed to admit the wait was agonizing. As it often goes with alpacas, he decided to be born when we were off the farm at an alpaca event, but we were SOOOOO pleased when we got home.

Mission is a strong gentle, macho sweetheart of a male. His fleece needs to be seen and touched to be appreciated. It was recently purchased by a certified fiber sorter who gave it her highest marks. So bright and tightly crimped while still so soft, fine and uniform. Everything you could want...perfectly packed pedigree, truly spectacular fleece, ideal temperament, strong conformation. We can truly say.... "Mission Accomplished"!

He is only offered for sale because of the redundant genetics in our herd. With three Legacy daughters/granddaughters, a Jeremiah daughter and a few Jeremiah sons/grandsons, he will just not get the opportunities to breed that he absolutely deserves. What a shame it would be for him to go unused!
